Ingredients
- Indrayani rice – 2 cups
- Jaggery powder – 1 cup
- Milk – ½ cup
- Cloves – 3 pieces
- Green Cardamoms – 3 pieces
- Cinnamon stick – 1 piece
- Cow Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Cashew nut – 6 pieces
- Almonds – 6 pieces
- Raisins – 6 pieces
- Saffron – tsp
How to make
Wash and soak the indrayani rice for 20 minutes. In pan heat ghee, add the cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, dry fruits and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the drained indrayani rice with 2 cups of water. Once the water in rice starts drying, add the jaggery powder, milk and saffron. Mix. Cook for 10-12 minutes. Serve.
