Recipe – Chana Dal Soup

 

Ingredients – 1 cup Chana Dal, 6 cups water, 2 tbsp Oil, Salt to taste, 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp Black mustard seeds, 1 green chilli grated, ½ tbsp ginger grated, ¼ tsp asafoetida, 1 ½ tsp Turmeric

 

Steps –

Soak Chana Dal for half to one hour in 6 cups water and boil. Cook and puree it. Add salt. In a skillet, heat the oil & add spices. Pour spice mixture into chana dal puree and serve hot!

 

Storage: Store in cool dry place in glass or steel jar preferably
